Proud of our House of Plenty!
Since this week the House of Plenty has got a door that can actually be locked and this week we have constructed to floor! On the 14th of March we already showed the result so far to our interested fellow builders and assistants.
We are proud of our achievements so far!
It will still take a few weeks to put the finishing touches to it, but now its already actually a house! The windows are built in, we are able to get on the roof and the floor is almost finished. And all this thanks to quite a large bunch of people, who helped us in every way to construct the building from scratch.
Thursday March 14 we put them in the centre of the attention and we already presented them the house. A sort-of sneak preview.
People who helped us from the very beginning of the project were there, but also people who just ‘discovered’ the house and lended a helping hand in the construction the last couple of weeks.
We all took a little sightseeing tour and everyone had the opportunity to tell about their own contribution to the House of Plenty and their motives to support our project.
The students of the HAN, Janise, Helena, Philipp and Marjolein, gave our guests a warm welcome. The guests received a name tag to put on their coat, a delicious rosé spoom and they could write something on the inspiration wall. In the meantime the students were also filming and taking pictures.
A great day
After a short tour in, around and on top of the house Leon Gommers of Gargantua and Anna van Wezel of event organizer and caterer “Feestjes met”
organized a get-together with delicious snacks.
We had a great time! Check out the photos of the festive day below.
